Replacing the lens cover on the blinker

The broken blinker lens cover.                          The brightness that bothered me to no end.               Screw holding lower dash in on right side.

Screw holding dash in on left side.         Lever released on steering column so you can move it.   Top dash is removed similarly.  It is tight on the right.

Pull the dash straight out towards the seat.                                 Because of the long overlap by the center console.

Mind the wires on the left.                                                         Mind the blinker wires.

You can see the slots for the clips for the upper Looking at where the bottom dash        Looking up under the steering column.

dash and the part where it overlaps by the center           connects by the console.

                        console.

The fuse box.                                                    To disconnect the blinkers, just turn the bulb until           The green thing is the blinker lens cover.

                                                                                                aligns and pulls right out.

The top dash with the cover off.                                        My repair is red.  Try finding green lens tape.            Needs a second coat of red tape – looks pinkish

You can see where the gauge cover would come off.     Besides, it’s correct for a boat….                     in the daylight.  It is a huge improvement though!
